I'm Michelle, a visual communication designer with 2+ years' experience designing for non-profit organisations and for Radio New Zealand. I currently design for Supertonic, and am completing a Design qualification at Massey University's Toi Rauwhārangi. I'm Malaysian-Chinese, and grew up in the mighty Waikato.
I'm especially driven by human-centred design, and visual storytelling in information design and marketing materials. I’ve worked in sectors including events, journalism (Radio New Zealand), and education, creating engagement with print, motion, social, and digital platforms.
I also enjoy blending illustration with typography in designs. My illustration work includes personal commissions of people and animals, urban sketching, and painting New Zealand's beautiful landscapes.
